Detailed Itinerary
Day 01

Hanoi Arrival

Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02

Ninh Binh (B, L)

Head to Ninh Binh, a captivating region of mountains, rivers, and hidden charm. Your first stop is Mua Cave, one of the most scenic locations in Ninh Binh, where climbing roughly 500 steps rewards you with breathtaking views of Tam Coc, rice fields, and the karst landscape. After lunch, enjoy a traditional boat ride through Tam Coc, often referred to as the “Halong Bay on land,” featuring limestone formations and vibrant rice paddies along the route.
Day 03

Hanoi – Overnight Train to Lao Cai (B, L)

Begin the day with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, followed by the Museum of Ethnology, where you’ll explore the diverse cultures of the country’s 54 ethnic groups. After lunch, take a cyclo ride through the bustling Old Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake, then enjoy a traditional water puppet performance. In the evening, board the overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 04

Lao Cai – Sapa (B)

After arrival, start the day with breakfast before heading to Cat Cat Village, home to the H’Mong ethnic minority. Enjoy a guided walk through the village, interact with the locals, and immerse yourself in their culture by visiting some of their homes. In the afternoon, take some free time to relax or explore the town on your own.
Day 05

Sapa – Lao Cai – Overnight Train to Hanoi (B, L)

Head out for a walking tour to explore the hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to the Black H’mong and Dzay communities, as well as Ta Phin Village, where the Red Dzao people live. This journey offers breathtaking views and an opportunity to meet some of the warmest locals. Standing in the valley, you’ll truly admire the stunning landscape around you. In the evening, board the overnight train returning to Hanoi.
Day 06

Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

Arrive at the train station and transfer to a mini hotel for rest and breakfast before departing from Hanoi to Halong Bay. Once there, board an overnight cruise to explore the iconic Halong Bay. Enjoy all-inclusive meals along with various activities both on and off the ship. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 07

Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B)

Start the day with a Tai Chi session, followed by an international breakfast as the cruise sails through the stunning islets on the way back to the pier. From there, transfer to the airport for your flight to Hue.
Day 08

Hue (B, L)

Take a boat ride along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest in Hue. Next, explore the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the former seat of power for the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. After lunch, head to the majestic tombs of Emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh to learn about royal life and admire their unique architecture.
Day 09

Hue – Hoian – Countryside Tour & Sunset Cruise (B)

Depart from Hue to Hoi An. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take a brief rest. Following this, embark on a jeep journey through the scenic countryside to reach a pier. From there, board a boat to visit a nearby fishing village, where you can immerse yourself in the river lifestyle, observe local farming practices, and experience the daily routines of the villagers.
Day 10

Hoian Ancient Town – Tra Que Village (B, L)

Take a stroll through the ancient town to explore its charm before heading to the home of a local craftsman to learn about the daily life of the locals and witness the art of lantern-making. Afterward, enjoy a brief journey through the countryside to Tra Que village, where you can participate in a cooking class, relax with a traditional foot massage, and try your hand at planting vegetables just like the local farmers.
Day 11

Hoian – Da Nang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Spend your free time unwinding on the beach or further exploring Hoi An at your own pace. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 12

Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)

Travel to Cu Chi district to explore the fascinating underground tunnel network of Cu Chi. After enjoying lunch, return to the city to visit key landmarks such as the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, and Ben Thanh Market.
Day 13

Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B, L)

Head to the Mekong Delta and embark on a boat trip to explore the lively Cai Be floating market. Stop by a local village to observe the production of traditional goods, experience daily life, and enjoy a performance of Vietnamese folk music. Then, hop on a small hand-rowed sampan to immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of the Mekong River. After lunch, continue by boat to Vinh Long, known as the hub of tropical fruits, before transferring to your hotel in Can Tho.

Day 14

Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

Rise early to take a boat trip to the renowned Cai Rang floating market. From there, continue cruising to visit the Mekong Delta's vibrant fruit orchards and taste a variety of fresh, exotic fruits. Venture further into the countryside, where you'll pass traditional wooden and palm-leaf houses while observing the daily lives of the locals. After lunch, return by car to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 15

Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time to unwind or continue discovering the city at your own pace before being transferred to the airport for your departure.
