Then, head to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, beginning at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, followed by a short walk to the Presidential Palace, the House on Stilts, and the One Pillar Pagoda. After lunch, explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Later, take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter to experience local daily life and witness the bustling traffic. End the day by enjoying a traditional water puppet performance.
Travel to Ninh Binh, a stunning region of mountains, rivers, and natural beauty. Your first stop will be Mua Cave, one of the most scenic spots in Ninh Binh, where you’ll climb about 500 steps to take in breathtaking views of Tam Coc, rice fields, and the karst landscape. After lunch, enjoy a traditional boat ride through Tam Coc, often referred to as the “Halong Bay on land,” with limestone peaks and rice fields lining the route.
Day 04
Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Depart from Hanoi and head to Halong Bay, passing through the fertile farmlands of the Red River Delta and picturesque rice fields along the way. Upon arrival, board an overnight cruise to explore the legendary beauty of Halong Bay. Enjoy delicious meals on board and take part in various indoor and outdoor activities. Spend the night on the cruise.
Day 05
Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang – Hoian (B)
Start your day with a Tai Chi session, followed by an international breakfast as the cruise sails through the stunning islets on the way back to the pier. After disembarking, head to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An for check-in.
Day 06
Hoian Ancient Town – Basket Boat Tour (B, L)
Visit Hoi An’s lively market and historic port to experience the daily life of the locals, followed by a walking tour through the ancient town. After lunch, head to Cam Thanh, known for its 7 hectares of coconut palm forest, where you’ll learn about the traditional craft of making basket boats and the lives of local fishermen. Take part in fun and engaging activities with the basket boats, which are both safe and enjoyable.
Day 07
Hoian – Bana Hills & Golden Bridge – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Travel by car and take a cable car ride up to Ba Na Hills. Once there, take a stroll along the Golden Bridge, surrounded by misty mountain views and stunning scenery overlooking Da Nang City. Hop on the hill-climbing train and explore some of the unique attractions in Ba Na Hills. In the afternoon, enjoy a variety of exciting games at Fantasy Park before heading back to Da Nang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 08
Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
Head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an intricate network of underground passages used by Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War to evade American air raids. After lunch, visit the War Remnants Museum, which showcases old military equipment and artifacts from the war. Next, explore the Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace, where South Vietnam surrendered in April 1975. Conclude your tour by admiring the stunning architecture of Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic General Post Office.
Day 09
Mekong Delta (B, L)
Transfer to Mekong Delta then take a boat trip to discover Caibe floating market where local people sell, buy and exchange goods on their boats. Visit a village to watch the process of making local products, observe daily activities, enjoy Vietnamese traditional music then take a small sampan rowing by hand of a local to feel the real Mekong river. After lunch, visit a local brick kiln before taking another boat to Vinh Long, the center of tropical fruits and stopping for a short visit at a local market.
Day 10
Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time to relax or continue exploring Ho Chi Minh City at your own pace before being transferred to the airport for your departure.
