When you arrive, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel to check in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
Begin the day by visiting the Museum of Ethnology to learn about the culture and daily life of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. Then, head to the Ho Chi Minh complex, starting with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, followed by a walk to the Presidential Palace, the House on Stilts, and the One Pillar Pagoda. After lunch, explore the Temple of Literature, known as Vietnam’s first university. Continue with a cyclo ride through the lively Old Quarter to see the daily life of locals and how they handle the busy traffic. End the day by enjoying a traditional water puppet show.
Travel to Ninh Binh, a stunning region of mountains, rivers, and hidden charm. Your first stop will be Mua Cave, one of the most scenic spots in the area. Climb roughly 500 steps to take in breathtaking panoramic views of Tam Coc, the rice fields, and the karst landscape. After lunch, enjoy a traditional boat ride through Tam Coc, often referred to as the "Halong Bay on land," where you'll glide past limestone peaks and picturesque rice paddies.
Day 04
Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Depart from Hanoi and head to Halong Bay. On arrival, board an overnight cruise to explore the legendary beauty of Halong Bay. Enjoy all-inclusive meals and take part in various activities both on board and outdoors. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 05
Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B)
Start your day with a Tai Chi session, followed by an international breakfast as the cruise sails through the stunning islets on the way back to the pier. After disembarking, head to the airport for your flight to Hue.
Take a boat ride along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest in Hue. Next, explore the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the former seat of power for the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. After lunch, head to the grand tombs of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh to learn about their lives and admire the unique royal architecture.
Day 07
Hue – Da Nang – Hoian (B)
Travel by car across the breathtaking Hai Van Pass to reach Hoi An. Along the way, stop to explore the Marble Mountains, the Cham Museum, and the Stone Village. Spend your afternoon unwinding on the beach at your leisure.
Day 08
Hoian Ancient Town & Basket Boat Tour (B, L)
Start your day with a visit to Hoi An’s lively market and historic port to experience the local daily life. Continue with a walking tour through the charming ancient town of Hoi An. After lunch, head to Cam Thanh, known for its 7 hectares of coconut palm forest, where you’ll learn about the traditional craft of basket boat making and the lives of local fishermen. Enjoy engaging, hands-on activities with the basket boats, offering a fun and safe experience.
Day 09
Hoian – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Spend your free time relaxing on the beach or wandering through the ancient town at your own pace. Alternatively, reach out to our travel consultant to arrange additional activities like a countryside tour, cycling, a cooking class, a visit to the Golden Bridge, or exploring My Son Sanctuary. In the afternoon, head to Da Nang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 10
Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
Head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a network of underground passages used by Vietnamese soldiers during the Vietnam War to evade American airstrikes. After lunch, explore the War Remnants Museum, which showcases military equipment and artifacts from the war. Next, visit the Reunification Palace, formerly the Presidential Palace, where South Vietnam surrendered in April 1975. Conclude the day with a stroll to admire the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic General Post Office.
Day 11
Mekong Delta (B, L)
Discover Ben Tre with a picturesque boat trip along the river, where you can observe traditional brick-making and visit coconut workshops. Watch how coconut candy is made, taste some sweets and fruits, and enjoy traditional local music. Take a relaxing walk to a farmer's house to see how sleep mats are crafted, then explore coconut groves and nearby villages by tuk-tuk. Afterward, enjoy a peaceful rowing boat ride through canals shaded by palm trees, followed by lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 12
Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time to unwind or continue exploring the city at your own pace before being transferred to the airport for your departure.
