Day 01
Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
Upon arrival, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy some free time to relax. In the evening, savor a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 02
Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnel (B, L)
In the morning, visit the main attractions, including the Town Hall, Opera House, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the iconic Ben Thanh Market. After lunch, travel to Cu Chi to explore the fascinating underground tunnel system, then return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 03
Mekong Delta (B, L)
Head to the Mekong Delta and embark on a boat trip to explore the Cai Be floating market, where locals trade goods directly from their boats. Visit a nearby village to see how traditional products are made, observe the daily lives of the residents, and enjoy authentic Vietnamese folk music. Then, hop on a hand-rowed sampan guided by a local to experience the true essence of the Mekong River. Later, board another boat to Vinh Long, known for its tropical fruits, and make a brief stop at a local market.
Day 04
Ho Chi Minh City – Overnight Train to Da Nang (B) (15:30 – 09:50)
Spend your morning exploring the city at your own pace. In the afternoon, head to the train station to catch an overnight train to Da Nang. Enjoy your night onboard the train.
Day 05
Da Nang – Hoian Ancient Town (B, L)
Upon arriving in Da Nang in the morning, visit the renowned Cham Museum, home to a remarkable collection of artifacts from the Cham Kingdom. Afterwards, proceed to Hoi An, where you can stroll through the ancient streets, showcasing a blend of Japanese and Chinese architectural styles that highlight its past as a significant trading hub.
Day 06
Hoian – Free at Leisure (B)
Take some time to unwind on the beach or further explore the charm of the ancient town at your leisure. If you’re interested, feel free to contact our travel consultant to organize activities like a countryside excursion, bike tour, sunset boat ride, cooking workshop, or visits to landmarks such as the Golden Bridge and My Son Sanctuary.
Day 07
Hoian – Hue (B, L)
Travel to Hue, the cultural heart of Central Vietnam, with stops at Lang Co Beach and Hai Van Pass for photo opportunities. In the afternoon, explore Hue by visiting the Imperial Citadel and the Tomb of Tu Duc.
Day 08
Hue – Overnight Train to Hanoi (B) (16:30 – 05:45)
Start the morning with a private tour in Hue, visiting Thien Mu Pagoda by boat and exploring the Tomb of Tu Duc. In the afternoon, board an overnight train to Hanoi and spend the night on the train.
Start your day with an early morning arrival in Hanoi. After enjoying breakfast at a local restaurant, set out to explore iconic attractions like the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Museum of Ethnology, and the Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, take a relaxing stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and experience a one-hour cyclo ride through the bustling Old Quarter. Conclude the day with a traditional Water Puppet performance in the evening.
Leave Hanoi in the morning and head to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, take a relaxing boat cruise through the bay, stopping to visit various islands, caves, and grottoes along the way. Lunch will be served on board. In the late afternoon, return to Hanoi.
Day 11
Ninh Binh – Overnight train to Lao Cai (B, L) (22:00 – 06:00)
Travel to Ninh Binh in the morning. Once there, explore Mua Cave and climb roughly 500 steps to take in the breathtaking views of Tam Coc, the rice fields, and the stunning karst scenery. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride along the river through the rice paddies to Tam Coc, often referred to as the "Halong Bay on land." In the evening, board an overnight train to Lao Cai.
Once you arrive, head to Cat Cat Village, where the H’Mong ethnic group resides. Take a walking tour through the village, interact with the local people, and learn about their way of life. You’ll also have a chance to visit some families in the area and exchange cultural insights. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, relaxing as you wish.
Day 13
Sapa – Lao Cai – Overnight train to Hanoi (B, L) (22:00 – 06:00)
Travel to explore the hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to the Black H’mong and Dzay communities, as well as Ta Phin village, where the Red Dzao people live. This journey offers breathtaking views and a chance to meet some of the warmest locals. In the evening, board an overnight train returning to Hanoi.
Day 14
Hanoi Departure (B)
Upon reaching the train station, you will be picked up and taken to a small hotel to rest and have breakfast. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight back home.
