Pick up at the airport then transfer to the hotel for check-in and free at leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.
Visit the Grand Royal Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. Then continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha. Then, you will visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha. In the afternoon, boarding on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River Along, on the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the temple of the Aube.
Day 03
Bangkok – Railway Market – Floating Market – Kanchanaburi (B)
Visit the Maeklong railway market and enjoy the local snack in the market before driving to Damnoen Saduak - a rural floating market. Continue the road to the city of Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, you will visit the World War II memorial including the Jeath War Museum, Cemetery. Then, boarding a train for riding along the beautiful river for around 30 minutes and then transferring to the city to visit Kwai bridge.
Day 04
Kanchanaburi – Erawan Waterfalls – Ayutthaya (B)
Depart for Erawan Waterfall - a beautiful seven-tiered waterfall then continue the road to Ayutthaya, known as the 'Venice of the East’. Overnight in Ayutthaya.
Day 05
Ayutthaya – Overnight train to Chiang Mai (B)
Catch Kermit tuk tuk to explore the temple highlights of the city from Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat, and stroll through a local market en route to Wat Phra Srisanphet. Then, visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. The palace showcases an eclectic collection of buildings that blend European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architectural styles. It’s the favorite summer palace of the King. Then transfer to the station to embark on an overnight train to Chiang Mai.
Join a walking tour of the old town with a stop at the old wall, the moat and a door of the old town. You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai: Wat Phra Singh, Wat Phan Tao and Wat Chedi Luang. Then stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will take a rickshaw tour. After that, take a walk through the central market of Warorot. In the afternoon you will visit the Doi Suthep hill and craft villages.
Day 07
Chiang Mai – Elephant Jungle Sanctuary (B, L)
Pick up from your hotel at 8:30. Arrive at the Sanctuary and meet your guide then walk for 10-15 minutes through the Jungle to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary then join some activities with elephants: feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment, take photos with the elephants. After lunch, bath and brush the elephants.
Day 08
Chiang Mai – Mae Kampong Village – Chiang Mai (B, L)
Drive to Mae Orn in the morning. En route, stop at the San Kamphaeng market to buy the ingredients for our lunch and fruit of the season. Upon arrival in Mae Kam Pong, learn about the history of this remarkable village and make a beautiful trek around the village. Various walks are possible around Mae Kam Pong. Lunch will be either in a homestay in the village or a picnic lunch along the way, depending on the program. A traditional massage is available.
Day 09
Chiang Mai Departure (B)
Depending on your departure time, you will have free time to relax or further explore Chiang Mai on your own before a transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
