Upon arrival, pick up at the airport then transfer to the hotel for check in. Afternoon tour of Yangon includes Karaweik Hall, a Royal barge on the Royal Lake for photo stop, Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha. Drive downtown to visit China Town with the fruit market and Yangon’s city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda.

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Mandalay. On the way, cross the small river by ferry boat to make a joyful excursion by horse cart at Ava; it was one of ancient Myanmar capitals before British annexation in 1885. In the evening enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill.

Drive to Mahagandayon Monastery where hundreds of young Novices study Buddhist Literatures with strictly obeying rule and regulation of the Monastery according to Buddha teaching. Next, proceed to Sagaing Hill, which is perhaps the living center of Buddhist faith in Myanmar today. Hillsides are dotted with numerous Pagodas and Monasteries. Depart to Mandalay on a private boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun, a village on the west bank of the river. Visit Settawya Pagoda, Mingun Pahtodawgyi, and the world-renowned ringing Mingun Bell and Myatheintan Pagoda.

Take a trip to Pyin Oo Lwin. East of Mandalay, a one and half hour drive are the foothills of the Shan Plateau. Those seeking to escape from the sweltering heat of Mandalay, formerly known as Maymyo. Sightseeing places of interest are; NationalKandawgyi Park, Chinese Temple, PweKauk Waterfall, and PeikChinMyaung Cave.

Visit the Mahamuni Pagoda, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble, Shwenandaw Monastery noted for its exquisite wood carving, Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the world’s Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures. Mandalay Palace. Proceed to Bagan and overnight in Bagan.

Visiting to the colorful Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Kyansittha Umin; Wet-kyi-in Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes and Htilominlo Temple. In the afternoon, after the must visit to lacquerware workshop; continue to Manuha Temple; Nang Phaya, the residence of King Manuha; Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece and Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi colors paintings. Enjoy the breath-taking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Start morning sightseeing with Lawkananda Pagoda; East and West PhetLeik with clay plaque Jataka scenes; Thatbyinnyu Temple; Shwegugyi Temple; Palace site and Tharabar Gate. Depart by road for Kalaw, a mountain resort town in the Southern Shan State. Enroute visit Mt.Popa, is considered the early font of power for the mystical world of the nats. Climb up Mt. Popa and view the surrounding area. In the afternoon, proceed to Kalaw.

Drive to NyaungShwe jetty and start scenic boat sightseeing to Phaung DawOo Pagoda. In the afternoon, floating Gardens, Unique Leg-rowers, Traditional Fishing Method, Silk Weaving, Stilt House Villages on the lake and NgeT Chaung Monastery. Proceed to Indein and overnight in Inle Lake.

Visit the Indein Pagoda located near the Indein creek; it is narrow and has many twists and turns. Paddy fields around the creek receive water from the creek. In the afternoon, here our beat starts venturing into a small canal and passes through the beautiful scenery on the way to Pa O Hill tribe village. After visiting the local market, we enjoy walking to the very impressive ruins containing hundred ancient pagodas, some of which are hidden in the lush vegetation and overnight in Inle Lake.

Transfer to the airport for Yangon. Upon arrival, visit Botahtaung Pagoda, Nanthida jetty and watch the traffic on the Yangon River. Here luxury cruise liners come to berth at this jetty quite often. Proceed to Yangon’s City center featuring Sule Pagoda and colonial buildings and National Museum. Depending on your departure time, you will have some free time to relax or further explore this city on your own before a transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
