Day 02
Yangon – Flight to Heho – Kalaw (B)
In the morning, transfer to the airport for flying to Heho. Drive to Kalaw, visit Pindaya Caves, Pindaya Lakes, Hnee Pagoda, Shwe U Min Monastery, a mountain resort town in the Southern Shan State and look around the mountain city.
Day 03
Kalaw – Indein – Inle Lake (B)
Drive to Inle Lake, arrive at NyaungShwe jetty and start scenic boat sightseeing to PhaungDawOo Pagoda. In the afternoon, visit floating Gardens, Unique Leg-rowers, Traditional Fishing Method, Silk Weaving, Stilt House Villages on the lake and NgePeChaung Monastery. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 04
Inle Lake – Bagan (B)
Drive to Bagan, an ancient city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site of Myanmar. Overnight in Bagan.
Visiting the colorful Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, KyansitthaUmin, Wet-kyi-in Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes and Htilominlo Temple. In the afternoon, visit the lacquerware workshop, continue to Manuha Temple, Nang Phaya, the residence of King Manuha, Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece and Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi-coloured paintings. Enjoy the breath-taking sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda.
Day 06
Bagan – Mandalay – Ava – Mandalay (B)
Drive to Mandalay. On the way, cross the small river by ferry boat to make a joyful excursion by horse cart at Ava; it was one of ancient Myanmar capitals before British annexation in 1885. In the evening enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill.
Take a trip to Pyin Oo Lwin. East of Mandalay, a one and half hour drive are the foothills of the Shan Plateau. Those seeking to escape from the sweltering heat of Mandalay, formerly known as Maymyo. Sightseeing places of interest are: NationalKandawgyi Park, Chinese Temple, PweKauk Waterfall and PeikChinMyaung Cave. Back to Mandalay.
Day 08
Mandalay – Amarapura – Sagaing – Mingun – Flight to Yangon (B)
Drive to visit Mahagandayon Monastery where hundreds of young Novices study Buddhist Literatures with strictly obeying rule and regulation of the Monastery according to Buddha teaching. Next, proceed to Sagaing Hill, which is perhaps the living center of Buddhist faith in Myanmar. Hillsides are dotted with numerous Pagodas and Monasteries. Take a boat along the Ayeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun Village. Visit Settawya Pagoda, Mingun Pahtodawgyi and Myatheintan Pagoda. In the evening, take a flight to Yangon.
A tour of Yangon includes Karaweik Hall, a Royal barge on the Royal Lake for photo stop, Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, a colossal reclining Buddha. Drive downtown to visit China Town with the fruit market and Yangon’s city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset.
Day 10
Yangon Departure (B)
Start morning shopping at Treasure, Gems and Handicrafts shops. Visit BogyokeAung San market where you can buy many souvenirs. And then transfer to the airport for the departure flight home.
